Memorial Day weekend has come and gone, and Yale’s our national champion on the men’s side and James Madison the same for the women. Need something to relive the weekend of championship lacrosse? College Crossecast is here with a jammed pack edition to cure your newfound offseason blues!
I’m joined by Chris, Jake, and Skyler to break it all down. We start with some news & notes (5:25). Then we go through the semifinals with Yale-Albany at 10:30 and Duke-Maryland at 30:20. After a quick dive into the D-2 and D-3 finals (43:30), we talk the NCAA Men’s Lacrosse championship game and Yale’s victory over Duke to win their first title (46:00). We then look back upon Yale’s run (1:03:48) and how it all came together for the Bulldogs. Then we jump into the NCAA women’s lacrosse final four (1:31:00) and the best game of the weekend as James Madison took down Boston College to win the national title (1:43:25). We then wrap things up with some Tewaaraton talk, mainly for the women because it’s way more interesting than for the men (1:59:00).
You can listen to the show on Podomatic, in the player below, or by subscribing on iTunes and Google Play. Be sure to join us next week for our season in review special, and then throughout the offseason for subseries, new episodes with updates and news, and some special guest interviews!
