COLLEGE CROSSECAST Ep. 79: The Epitome of Brutality

Okay, we’ve run out of Rothsteinisms to name March podcasts. But we’re chatting about the nutty Patriot League, Cornell’s rise, and a lot more.

If you came for college basketball analysis, you’ve come to the wrong place. If you want a recap of all that’s gone on in the world of college lacrosse, stick around, we’ve got a podcast for you! It’s another edition of College Crossecast!

I’m joined by Chris and Jake as we go around the world of college lacrosse in a tidy hour and 42 minutes. We start off with some news and notes (1:20) before moving onto this past weekend’s games, including Virginia blowing a 9-2 lead to Johns Hopkins (4:11), Cornell’s dominance coming on full display against Penn (20:00), Syracuse flipping the big game script (30:04), and whatever in the world that Notre Dame-Ohio State game was (59:00). Oh, and the Patriot League going bonkers is a common theme throughout or recap. After going through the polls and our survivor pick ‘em picks (1:03:00), we reveal the 2018 College Crosse Midseason All-American list (1:14:45)! Then we look into this weekend’s slate and make some picks (1:17:17). Oh, and if you enjoy our digressions, we were inspired by Roseanne’s return to make some terrible endings for current television shows (1:31:00).
