GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING, College Crosse Nation!! Thanks for making us a part of your day! Here are your links for July 2, 2017.
What You Missed
Lots of transfer news to catch up before the July 4th weekend began.
Lacrosse The Nation
Last night were the Under Armour All-America games. Here are some of the best highlights from the Boys game:
Quinn went to Niskayuna. A fellow Cuse player who went to the same high school and wears the same number as the incoming freshman chimed in too.
Probably the best goal of the night backed with an excellent celebration:
Best celebration of the night though.
The MVP was a Johns Hopkins commit.

One final note: I didn’t watch the game (going to later this morning or in the afternoon) because I had to work overnight. But this was an interesting tidbit.
If you're complaining about 1) the celebrations 2) lack of defense .... It's an all-star game. What did you expect?!— Ty Xanders (@tyxanders) July 2, 2017
The second comment I expected because any all-star game pretty much means little to no defense played. In any sport.
But the first one got a lot of attention. I for one enjoyed the celebrations. I wouldn’t be shocked if each team had a walkthrough of their celebrations after their actual walkthroughs this past week. The entire team celly, the bike, the Terrell Owens, and then the RKO...from outta nowhere!
Obviously in games that matter, nearly all of these cellys are going to get unsportsmanlike penalties and coaches will get furious. Let the young adults have fun! They’re at this event because, outside of being picked by IL, they worked hard their past four years in high school and earned the honor. They’re buddying up with club teammates, future collegiate teammates, and getting to know each other altogether. Every all-star game has fun in some way, and in this version, fun is having very thought out celebrations.
Speaking of fun, UniSwag unveiled their nominees for the Lacrosse Uniform of the Year. It’s always fun to debate who had the best uniform of the year!
- Air Force Falcons
- Army West Point Black Knights
- Drexel Dragons
- Georgetown Hoyas
- Maryland Terrapins
- North Carolina Tar Heels
- Notre Dame Fighting Irish
- Ohio State Buckeyes
- Syracuse Orange
- Towson Tigers
I think you know who I voted for:
With July 1 being the first day of the new fiscal year, plenty of uniform changes went into effect. It can be fun to picture what their uniforms might be next year:
The Delaware Blue Hens have made their assistant head coaching hires official. It’s fun to predict how teams might be next year, even if we’re seven months away from the start of the season:
