As we embark on another Memorial Day weekend where we come together to remember those that fought for our country and gather ‘round our friends and family to celebrate the start of summer, there’s another tradition on the horizon. It’s the NCAA Men’s Lacrosse final four weekend. By the holiday’s end, we will see a national champion crowned in front of tens of thousands at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.

But as we look to the very near future, we must also look back at the past. For over 45 years of this grand test of lacrosse mettle. For dynasties and teams we’ll never forget. For underdogs that crashed the biggest stage and even came away with the trophy. For the blue-bloods and the new frontiers. Every title game has a story and each has their own memories fans of each school, players, and coaches will never forget.

This is all a long-winded way of saying the NCAA Championship game is the pinnacle of lacrosse and you probably want something that’s cool to look at and remember all those games. Well, you’ve come to the right place.

Presenting “The History of the NCAA D-1 Men’s Lacrosse Championship Game.” This nifty infograph shows off every title game and every winner in the NCAA era. And come Monday, it’ll be updated with that final banner as we crown the 2017 national champion.
