Let’s go to the Big Board.

Comments.

PSU vs. Syracuse vs Other: The number 1 spot has been a tough place to be this year. We haven’t seen a team make it more than one week as the sole #1 team in the IL Media Poll in over a month. It’s your turn in the bright lights, Penn State!! I thought Syracuse deserved the #1 spot this round, but I can’t fault anyone for putting going with PSU. The Nittany Lions were very impressive last night vs. Ohio State.

Who is your number 1 team?

Binghamton: The BU Terriers dropped out of the IL Media Poll but another BU stepped up to replace them. Stand up, Binghamton! This has been a great year for the Bearcats. Binghamton already has more wins in a season than they’ve had since their 10-6 run in 2004, additionally, the Bearcats have as many wins in 2017 as they did in 2016 & 2015, combined.

BOSS McKeown has been a great hire and he’s a big reason why this team is 8-1 overall and 3-0 in the America East. The Bearcats are a real threat to go deep in the 2017 America East Tournament. (Ed. Note: Thanks to reader Jeff Barlow for the correction. We misstated that Binghamton was in the MAAC and not the America East)

Villanova: Welcome back, Wildcats! After a disappointing 1-4 start to 2017, Villanova has won their last 5 straight games. The Wildcats very hot right now and the #2 seed (or better) in the Big East Tournament is very possible if they continue playing the way they have been lately.
