Monster comeback falls short for the Orange in the ACC Tournament.

Two weeks ago North Carolina came within a couple minutes of upsetting No. 1-ranked Syracuse and preventing the Orange from clinching the ACC regular-season title in Chapel Hill.

This time at another Tobacco Road site, the Tar Heels played 60 full minutes to halt Syracuse from winning the ACC Tournament crown. The fourth-seeded Tar Heels defeated No. 1-ranked Syracuse 16-15 in the first game of the ACC semifinals Friday at Duke's Koskinen Stadium.

The MLL inked a deal to livestream games over Twitter.

Twitter is becoming the place to be for livestreamed lacrosse, as the social network followed up March’s announcement of a pact with the National Lacrosse League with Friday’s news of an agreement with Major League Lacrosse. Twitter will livestream the MLL Game of the Week during the 2017 season, and its slate consists of 15 regular-season games and two postseason clashes.

Big news from our boy, Ryan!

The Draft continues.

I went to Steve’s yesterday to rub it in to Chris that he was not in the city for the NFL Draft. After I was done eating, I went outside to take a picture of the storefront and I saw Joel Embiid across the street. Serendipity is a wonderful thing.

World/National News.

It appears the “Fyre Festival” is a disaster.

It was supposed to be the most glamorous event of the year, with all the selfie opportunities and flower-crowns a young, gym-bodied social media influencer could dream of. But Fyre Festival, an elite concert event on a deserted island in the Bahamas with tickets priced up to $12,000 has quickly turned into a terrifying B-movie, with flocks of Instagram models forced to seek shelter in an airport after arriving to discover a lack of food, violent locals, appalling accommodation and feral dogs roaming the grounds.
