It’s...SUNDAY NIGHT!
Both teams need a win in order to stay alive in the Big Ten race. They’re both 1-2, but Rutgers might need this win more. They have Ohio State at home next week, while Penn State has Michigan, who isn’t that good. The Scarlet Knights took Maryland to triple overtime last week, and had about eight chances to win the game, but blew them all.
Meanwhile, Penn State played a tough 13-11 loss to Johns Hopkins. Gerard Arceri has recently struggled from the face-off X in Big Ten play, and it doesn’t get easier with Joe Francisco, who won the majority of face-offs against Maryland last Sunday night.
The winner of this game goes to 2-2 in Big Ten play, and will clinch the final spot in the Big Ten Tournament, while the loser is 1-3.
