These polls ain't loyal!

NCAA Football: Louisville at Syracuse Rich Barnes-USA TODAY Sports

What's going on Nation?! We had another hectic weekend, which means we have some movement in the major polls. As usual, we try to sort everything out in our weekly Aggregation.

For those unfamiliar with the format, we compile all the major polls (Links for Week 10 polls: Inside Lacrosse, Lacrosse Magazine, and USILA Coaches Poll), plus Jason and my top 20 media ballot into one table below. You can find the College Crosse Top 20 for Week 10 here. You can also find the updated NCAA RPI rankings here.

Let's go to the Big Board!

#1: Maryland? Syracuse?

Honestly, it should be a tie for #1. Md just beat the #1, #5, & #11 teams in the country in an 8 day span and Syracuse (my #1 for the last two weeks) has the nation's longest active win streak. They both should share the top spot this week.

Here comes Duke.

I put the Blue Devils at #5 this week, but there's a strong case to be made that they are the 3rd best team in the country right now. Their offense is humming and but for their L to Syracuse in the Dome a few weeks ago, they'd have the nation's longest active win streak. I'm not totally sold on them as a Final Four team just yet, but our boy Joe Keegan is winning me over on the issue.

Albany.

I'm happy to see Albany still in the top ten. They've shown that they can hang with both Syracuse and the Terps, and have blown out almost everyone else on their schedule. I will say, that they do need a significant win, though. If they can beat Yale, it will provide some insurance if they have to go the At-Large route if Binghamton or someone else wins the AE.

Notre Dame.

I'd be a bit worried if I were an Irish fan. They are still a potent team, but their trajectory the last few weeks is worrisome.

Yale.

While their competition the last 4-6 weeks hasn't been the best, Yale has turned their season around and now looks like the team we all thought they'd be in the preseason. Ben Reeves is right behind Connor Fields as the best player in the country right now.

Rutgers.

I love RU & Jersey, but the Scarlet Knights blew that game vs. MD. Rutgers played well but too many mistakes cost them dearly on Sunday night. They need to beat Penn State this weekend or I fear they'll be on the outside looking in on Selection Sunday.

Johns Hopkins.

Hop's so perplexing this year. Some weeks they look very sharp and some weeks they can't get out of their own way. Regardless, they have a chance at punching their ticket to the Big Ten Tournament if they don't slip up vs. Michigan this weekend.
