College lacrosse has been really strange this season. On last week’s College Crossecast, we covered a lot of top 10 teams losing. So maybe this past week would settle down a bit, right?
Absolutely not. More undefeated teams were handed their first loss. Shocks were felt up and down the polls with upset victories. Things went nuts in games as well. In other words, we’ve got another entertaining hour and 45 minutes of lacrosse talk up ahead.
Ryan, Safe, and Chris recap the wild weekend that was, including some thrilling victories for Syracuse and Penn State, statement wins for Notre Dame and North Carolina, struggles aplenty for Brown and Yale, and continuing hot starts from teams such as Boston University and Hofstra (3:00). Oh, and the fact that then-#3 Johns Hopkins went from blowing out UNC to losing to unranked Princeton 18-7.
We also do our usual blurting out of our top 20’s in comparison to the polls (82:00) and getting you all set for the upcoming week of lacrosse and some pick-ems (90:00).
You can listen to the podcast below, over on Podomatic, or by subscribing on iTunes and Google Play. You can also meet Ryan at the Syracuse-St. John’s game on Saturday (weather permitting) and become plenty disappointed in doing so because he won’t be anywhere as cool as you’d think he’d be! Oh, and also leave us some reviews as we love to hear your feedback on our humble yet long winded podcast. Hope you enjoy the show. Thanks for listening.
