Cleveland State has yet to play their inaugural season, but they’ve certainly got the offseason figured out. They scooped up Ohio native & two time All-American, Kyle Berhlohr, as an assistant coach, partied it up with Lebron & the Cavs after the NBA title, and chilled with Al Roker during the Republican Convention in Cleveland. I mean that’s one heck of a summer.

But the Vikings stay busy and today they announced a new multi-year partnership deal with UN1TUS, designating UN1TUS as the official provider of all apparel for the lacrosse team. (Ed. Note: Shout out to CSU & every other school that puts us on their email chain. Tips/News/Banter are always welcome at collegecrosse@gmail.com)

BOSS Sheridan expanded on why they went with UN1TUS,

"It's with great excitement that we announce our decision to partner with UN1TUS Athletic Wear as the Official Apparel Outfitter of Cleveland State Lacrosse. One of our goals is finding ways for CSU Lacrosse to separate from the pack, while staying true to our school and city. As such, a diverse roster, relentless style of play, and commitment to high achievement are the hallmarks of our program. UN1TUS is a Cleveland based company, committed to raising the bar in the the lacrosse marketplace. We couldn't ask for an apparel partner more aligned with our objectives.

"This partnership provides CSU lacrosse players and staff the unprecedented opportunity to participate in the creative process of product development. In addition, UN1TUS shares our passion and commitment to growing the game locally and elevating the sport in our own backyard. As we strive to build an elite NCAA Division I lacrosse program in Northeast Ohio, our players and staff look forward to wearing cutting edge products, uniquely designed & engineered for Vikings Lacrosse, made in our hometown of Cleveland, Ohio."

Trip Roney, Vice President of UN1TUS Athletic Wear, sounds like he is all aboard the CSU Lax train,

"It is an exciting time to be in Cleveland and the introduction of men's lacrosse at Cleveland State is another way the University is raising the bar in our great city. This program will reflect the class, the professionalism and the passion of its leadership and, as such, CSU Men's lacrosse will quickly be respected both on and off the field.”
