All rankings based off the BOSSES' Week 1 Poll.
Highlights.
Beasts of the day:
- Vermont Catamounts. I think everyone was a bit surprised with Vermont's offensive explosion in their loss to Jacksonville last week. Well the Catamounts let all the hitters out again on Tuesday against NJIT and it wasn't pretty.
This was actually very close in the first half. The Highlanders were in it and went into intermission only down 1 (5-4). But Vermont unloaded with 31 shots and 14 goals in the second half on the way to the 19-5 win. Seriously, if you hear Vermont's trunk pop, it's already too late.
- FEAR THE SEAWOLVES. Stony Brook looked impressive against Sacred Heart. SHU was coming into the game with a bit of juice after their win over Lafayette last week. But the Seawolves were hungry and they feasted on Tuesday.
Stony Brook was in control throughout and Brody Eastwood (Ed. Note: More on him below) was excellent. It's great to see Seawolves fans popping out everywhere.
I am FURIOUS I didn’t think of this quote first and we will be stealing it gratuitously until the end of time. https://t.co/LMjHWhWhnN

Hitters List:
- James Barlow, Vermont. James busted out with 6 goals and 2 assists on Tuesday, leading the Vermont onslaught. The Glastonbury, CT native was instrumental in Vermont's second half explosion, as he bagged 5 of goals in the 3rd and 4th.
- James Burr, Boston U. Burr led the Terriers with a hat-trick on the day. James leads BU in scoring with 10 points already (9 Gs & 1 A), and is a big reason for the BU's 3-0 start.
- Dan Lomas & Michael LeClair, High Point. Strong effort by Lomas in the loss to BU. Dan had 4 goals and 1 assist. Additionally, Michael had a big game himself, with 6 points (4 Gs & 2 As) to keep it close against BU.
- Brody Eastwood, Stony Brook. Make sure the senior is well covered this year, otherwise you're going to see him all over the stat sheet. Eastwood exploded, bagging 6 goals and assisting on another 3 against Sacred Heart. 4 of Brody's goals came in the first quarter.
