Alphabetical 2013 NCAA D1 Preview: Quinnipiac
Quinnipiac went 2-11 in 2012 in Head Coach Eric Fekete’s 11th year, and the record marked a major step back from their 2011 campaign, where the Bobcats went 7-7 and split the NEC regular season title. 2010 saw Quinnipiac go 8-6, and the Bobcats definitely want to get back to that level this year. There has been an increased focus on conditioning and fundamental skill development this fall, as Coach Fekete and his squad know that the little things can make all the difference.

Alphabetical 2013 NCAA D1 Preview: Providence
Providence went 2-12 last year under Chris Burdick. In 2013, they bring in Chris Gabrielli as the HC, and he brings with him a staff of proven assistants, like John Galloway. Things are changing for Providence, which is good, but when will we start to see a real difference?

Hard to believe we're already gearing up for lacrosse season but Army's season opener against UMASS is about two weeks away.

Alphabetical 2013 NCAA D1 Preview: Robert Morris
2012 saw Robert Morris go 11-4 with a bunch of good wins and a heartbreaking loss at the end to Mount St. Mary’s. RMU started off 3-0 with close wins over Bellarmine, UMBC, and Air Force. They dropped a game Denver, and then again to Colgate, before rattling off wins over OSU and Hobart. A 17-10 loss to Bucknell set them up for wins over Canisius, Wagner, Sacred Heart, MSM, Quinnipiac, and Bryant, before MSM ended their season.

Penn State men's lacrosse celebrates its 100th season in 2013, its third under head coach Jeff Tambroni. These Nittany Lions are no strangers to tough tests, reaching the CAA Tournament the past two seasons as the No. 2 seed. The next step: earn a trip to the NCAA Tournament for just the third time in the program's history.

All six of their wins came by 4 goals or less, and 3 were by 1 goal.

2013 Season Preview - Part I
For most programs a winning record, a conference championship and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament constitutes a successful season. While the Orange achieved all those things by going 9-8 overall, claiming the inaugural BIG EAST Tournament crown and playing Duke in the national tournament last year, there are those that wonder if Syracuse has the talent to reach its first Final Four since 2009. Orange head coach John Desko is not one of those people.
