The second straight brother on out player profile series, Mike Daniello comes out of John Jay-Cross River High School in Westchester, N.Y.    The brother of 2010 Syracuse Orange leading scorer Chris Daniello, Mike will take his game to the Orange's biggest rival; Johns Hopkins.

Daniello orignially signed a letter of intent to play at North Carolina but changed his decision about a week later and decided to become a Blue Jay.

"Ever since I was a child, I dreamed of playing for Johns Hopkins and worked very hard to turn that dream into a reality," Daniello said. "The rich tradition and the opportunity to have a chance to be a part of that tradition was something that I could not let go of, even after my commitment to UNC. While UNC is a very special place and everybody who is a part of that program from the coaching staff down to the players are exceptional individuals, I felt I had to chase my childhood dream of being a Blue Jay."

With 42 goals and 32 assists his junior season, Daniello saw a major decrease in points during his senior campaign.  The 5'9", 175 pound attackman only had seven goals and seven assists in 2011.
