Please Welcome John Carrozza to the blog roll

As College Crosse continues to grow and the 2011 season draws closer, I wanted to bring a few former players on board to help the site and season launch.  I was able to get John Carrozza, a friend and fellow SU grad to join the blog roll.

John was a defensive midfielder for Coach Desko and the Orange from 2006-2008 and won a national championship with the Orange in 2008.  He transfered to 'Cuse from Deleware after his freshman season as a Blue Hen.  Carrozza has tremendous respect around the lacrosse world as one of the hardest hitting and all-around great midfielder.  Carrozza spent the majority of his time at SU as a defensive midfielder and was part of a 2008 defensive unit that held opponents to a 7.62 goals against average, the lowest for the team since 1970.  Carrozza was also an occasional face-off man for the Orange.

He has spent time in the MLL for the Chicago Machine and played briefly on the LXM tour.  He has also been invited for numerous tryouts for the NLL.

Carrozza has great knowledge of the game and has recently been hired by his former high school, John Jay in Westchester, NY, as an assistant coach.

Carrozza's first piece will be up shorly.  Please help me in welcoming John to the site!
