- Villanova at Johns Hopkins: This is where Hopkins needs to push and maintain its focus. The Jays are -- according to last week's NCAA Tournament projection aggregation -- teetering on the edge of a seeded position, the hardest spot to exist in the bracket considering the quality of an unseeded team that the Jays may meet in the first round if Hopkins is closer to an eight-seed than a four-seed. While Villanova does not potentially provide a boost to the Jays' resume (Villanova is currently ranked 26th in the RPI), the game tonight at Homewood does present something important for Johns Hopkins: The opportunity to create momentum against a solid opponent more than a week ahead of meeting Loyola in the Jays' season finale. This isn't an opportunity that Johns Hopkins can miss tonight because its impact is greater than an isolated Wednesday night game. This is the Blue Jays' last true prep before everything elevates to nightmarishly pressurized situations.
