2012 NCAA Lacrosse Tournament Quarterfinals Open Thread: Maryland at Johns Hopkins (2)

I've been holed up in northern New Jersey for a wedding. Outside of dressing so adorably that it almost made people melt (I forgot my cufflinks so I used dental floss to close my link cuffs), there was one interesting development: I'm staying in the same hotel as the Cortland and Salisbury women's lacrosse teams. (They're playing down the road in Montclair this weekend in the Division III Final Four).

Go get 'em, ladies! (Also, I'm not creepy or anything. Just, you know, call me!)

Anyway, Maryland and Johns Hopkins resume their blood feud today in Annapolis, which is just precious. The Jays are looking for their 29th trip to Championship Weekend while Maryland is looking for their 21st and second in a row. So, today is kind of important, boss. It's college lacrosse's best rivalry -- outside of Wagner against winning -- and an adventure to Gillette Stadium is on the line.

Here's how the game shakes out on the Fun Factor scale:

This is your open thread for the game. Keep love in your heart (or something).
