"For much of the regular season, SNY airs simulcasts of Syracuse lacrosse games from our sister station, Time Warner Cable Sports. We enjoy airing these games knowing how much the New York City area loves the sport of lacrosse, as the suburbs are some of the biggest hotbeds for the game in the country. We also understand that there are a lot of Syracuse and Princeton fans and alumni that are upset the game this Saturday won't be seen in the New York area. We could've gone the easy route and told our viewers to go complain to ESPNU for not airing the game for the first time in a million years, but we decided to go with a much more friendly route that our viewers would take more lightly and understandingly."
HEY GUYS IT'S YOUR OLD PAL MR. MET! Now, I know over the past few days some of you guys are upset over the Princeton-Syracuse lacrosse game not being on SNY. I have tons of friends who went there, you know! I'm actually hanging out with Chris Young right now; he went to Princeton, you know! And even though I'm a little bummed that the Syracuse NYC Alumni do a get together at Yankee Stadium instead of Citi Field, I do love seeing that orange and blue in the stands! Plus, I got Otto the Orange on speed dial to hang out in the city all summer long! You know, New York's College Team loves New York's National League Team!
But I do have to say we have a game on Saturday and our viewers need all the post-game analysis from Keith Hernandez they can handle! And I'm sure you Syracuse fans don't want to see them lose again and you Princeton guys are too busy studying or something, so it's not like you're missing out on anything, right?!? Besides, SNY is the best place to get all your Mets action all season long! Did we mention that tickets are still available for opening weekend against the Braves?!? We've got all great things for the kids, like the 2K Sports Batting Cage and Shake Shack and maybe a batting practice autograph from your favorite guys like David Wright, Ike Davis, and Johan Santana! You'll even get the chance to high-five me!
So, come on down to Citi Field or watch the game on SNY because Mets baseball is where all the fun's at! Right?!? Right?? SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL ME I'M RIGHT
AAAAAAAWWWW, COME ON GUYS! WE'RE NOT GONNA BE THAT BAD! WE WON OUR FIRST GAME! YA GOTTA BELIEVE, GUYS!! GUYS!!! WHY ARE YOU GOING ON THE SYRACUSE ATHLETICS SITE AND ORDERING TICKETS AND PREPARING TO DRIVE 5 HOURS?!? COME ON THE KIDS WILL LOVE IT! MR. MET WILL LOVE SEEING YOU, TOO! WHY DON'T YOU GUYS WANNA SEE ME?!!?!
