Connor English becomes newest member of Cornell Big Red

+

Ben DeLuca and his Big Red just got a major boost to their already scary attack unit as former Virginia Cavalier Connor English has transferred to Cornell and will be eligible to play for DeLuca and the big Red in 2012. A Long Island native, English played with Rob Pannell and Steve Mock over the summer, both L.I. natives as well. English was a highly touted recruit out of high school and never really found his way on a crowded Cav's team. With guys like Steele Stanwick, Chris Bocklett and Matt White in front of you, English always seemed to be the odd man out. English has 17 points in two seasons under head coach Dom Starsia. English will fit in nicely with the Big Red, who lost senior David Lau, a guy who put up 28 goals and 21 assists from both the midfield and attack position.
